Signiant SDCX Server System Requirements

This guide outlines the system requirements and firewall configuration needed to install and use the Signiant SDCX Server in your organization.

The Signiant SDCX Server, previously known as the Media Shuttle Storage Server, is software that must be installed at any on-premises location that will be used with either Jet or Media Shuttle. The SDCX Server connects your storage to Signiant’s SaaS platform, enabling file transfers using either Signiant product. A single deployment can support both products and the software can run on more than one server for high volume usage and redundancy.

There is no charge to download and install Signiant SDCX Server software. Its use is included in annual SaaS subscriptions for Jet and Media Shuttle.

To learn more about software-defined content exchange, see What is SDCX?

Signiant SDCX Server software provides an endpoint for Jet transfers and Media Shuttle on-premises storage, such as a local disk, NAS, or SAN.
